Who can apply for a grant?

Any Illinois Outpost who is about to charter and follows through or one that is already chartered.

Where can I apply for grants?

You can apply for grants using the documents that are on the Documents page of this website.  Or you can call the telephone number on the Contact Us page and have them mailed to you as well.  In any case you must fill out the appropriate paperwork and mail it in to the board where it will be reviewed.

Where did this grant money come from to begin with?

This grant money was a blessing from a person who had a heart for Rangers and wanted to share what they had with Royal Rangers in the Illinois District.  The rest comes from donor gifts and other funding vehicles

Will these grants ever "dry up?"

This grant money is also supplied by generous donations from both Royal Ranger associated people and those wishing to just bless Rangers even though they are not associated with Royal Rangers.  The bible said to make purses that will not rot or get moth eaten.  This is what we are doing. Annually, the IRSF Board will evaluate the amounts of total Grant monies to be made available for disbursement.

What are the top three requests for these grants?

1. Starting a new outpost
2. For much needed equipment

If my outpost goes under do we have to give back the grant money?

No. However if you have purchased curriculum it would be a great opportunity to bless other outpost if you return it to IRSF.
